GLASS

  • Monolithic float glass
  • Clear laminated Safety glass
  • Performance safety glass
  • Toughened safety glass (typically used for balustrades, tabletops, shelves, frameless showers, frameless fixed panels or where thermal stress is a factor)
      Double glazing:
  • Insulated glass units consists of 2 or more panes of glass, held together by a metal or aluminium spacer, and bonded with seal, trapping the air between the panes. Various combinations of glass are used, e.g., laminated to laminated, laminated to toughened, toughened to toughened.

Advantages and benefits of double glazing:
  • Energy saving; reduced heating in winter and reduced cooling in summer
  • Noise level reduction; reduced outside noise levels and contain noise levels within the home
  • Environmentally friendly; on average 30% to 40% of energy loss is through windows and doors in a home. Double glazing can reduce heating and cooling, and so reduces your carbon footprint
  • Enhance the value of your home
